Dr. Jackson arrived - with bells on! - at Charles C. Bell Elementary for his 45 schools in 45 days tour. Charles C. Bell Elementary, often referred to as CC Bell or CCBE, is a K-5 Elementary school located in the Reynolds District. With almost 300 students and 55 staff, CC Bell is a close-knit community school.
Charles C Bell Elementary opened its doors for students in the year 1961, originally teaching grades one through eight. Named after Buncombe County’s longest sitting School Board member, Mr. Charles Carol Bell, the school continues its history of excellent teaching through to today.
“Bell is a community based school,” said Principal Danny Fusco. “Parental involvement is vital to our success. The partnership between parents, staff and community has paid high dividends.”
With the 2021 introduction of the Leader in Me program, a special process of applying 7 Habits of Highly Successful People to create tomorrow’s thinkers and leaders, CC Bell is further building the capacity for staff and students to reach new heights in engaging learning projects and service initiatives within the school community.
