Public Library Cards for all BCS Students

All BCS Students have Buncombe County Public Library Cards
Posted on 09/03/2020
Last year, the Buncombe County Public Library System and Buncombe County Schools partnered to provide a public library card to all BCS students. There is no charge for the library card.

Students will use their school IAM 10 digit number and PIN (last four digits of IAM number) to borrow books or access the library’s services like e-books and online databases.

Students can check out up to 10 print or audio books from the public library and use all digital resources.

There are no overdue fines for student accounts, but students are responsible for any fees on lost or damaged books.

Parents may opt out of the program by filling out a brief form at any Buncombe County Public Library location.
