ABOUT ME:

Hello. I began my teaching career in a First Grade classroom back in 2001. Since then I have had the pleasure of teaching Kindergarten, First, Second, Third and now...Fifth Grade!

I can honestly say that after all these years I love it as much as I did back then, if not more.

Most of my previous years were spent at a wonderful little school in San Lorenzo, California ~ which is a suburb in the San Francisco Bay Area.

After we moved across country I was fortunate enough to work for 3 months at Haw Creek and 3 years at Johnston. It is an honor to now be teaching at Bell. I look forward to a great school year. Please feel free to contact me with questions, comments or just about anything.

I am a firm believer in listening to and learning from one another. I certainly ask my students a lot of questions and encourage a problem solving approach to learning.  I am happy to work with you and your child in ways that best meet their needs and learning styles. I am a mom too!

My husband and I are the proud parents of our daughter and our son, as well as four dogs! All this brings to mind one of my favorite quotes, "If you think my hands look full you should see my heart." Thank you for reading.
